SUMMARY OF POSITION :
This positionâs principal focus is to assist Covidien OEM partners in post sale support increasing the capnography adoption in OEM accounts through the provision of focused training and support to end-users. Responsibilities include: providing clinical support for capnography applications and Covidien products to Covidien customers and sales force with special focus on OEM business partners. Support includes clinical applications, education regarding capnography theory and technology, monitor operation, and appropriate use of disposable accessories for various clinical settings. Clinical knowledge is also utilized internally to support clinical studies, and for strategic development of capnography educational resources and sales/marketing tools to promote and support sales efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Provide clinical support for capnography applications and Covidien products to customers with special focus on OEM business partners.
Post Sale Support
Develop institutional adoption champions
Stimulate / support / facilitate clinical champions in development of institutional policies and processes
Customer Intimacy
Work closely with OEM partners to design efficient implementation processes, providing support to stimulate and enhance user success
Provide and maintain profiles for all facilities including monitor types, number of Microstream sockets, utilization rates, key decision makers, and trends within the facilities including clinical practice
Effectively utilize CRM to track client information, opportunities, and educational activities
Demonstrated solid understanding of the clinical application of all capnography products
Interface with members of the marketing/management team and communicate clinical needs and trends that impact capnography products
Apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and problem solve
Assist the marketing department with the development and support of sales and marketing materials
Provide support to key decision makers and clinicians throughout the assigned geography
Support local, regional and national trade shows as required
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Education:
Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Nursing or equivalent from a four-year college or university
Experience:
5-7 Years of experience as a licensed clinician in critical care and/or emergency department 3 years of experience in a business environment Experience in patient monitoring in a variety of care settings. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, geographically-distributed organization with multiple value streams

Track record of successful strategic business partnerships Strong verbal and written communication; exceptional client interaction skills Strong ability to create presentations and proposals that reflect the needs of the client Exceptional thoroughness, attention to detail, and follow-through High energy, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated In depth understanding of consumable adoption process Experience developing educational tools Experience with Capnography
