Our 12-bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit specializes in acutely ill adults with cardiac conditions, as well as patients who have undergone Interventional Radiology, Electro Physiology, and Cardiac-Thoracic surgeries. Nurses here provide care for patients who require cardiac drips and mechanical circulatory assist devices as a bridge to transplant or as a destination therapy. Nursing assignments are made on a shift-to-shift basis, taking into consideration staff skill levels and patient acuity to ensure we have the proper care needed for every patient each shift.
What we’re looking for:
Nursing degree from an NLNAC or CCNE accredite! d school, BSN strongly preferred
At least 1 year Step! -down/Telemetry or ICU experience in an acute, inpatient hospital
Must be able to work rotating shifts
An unrestricted, CO RN license (or able to obtain one)
Current AHA BLS and ACLS
PCCN a plus
