Half timeShift: Days - 10 hour shiftsHours: Salary Range: $24.00 - NegotiableJob Details: RN license is required Experience is preferred Position SummaryTo coordinate the care and teaching provided to all ostomy patients and patients with skin breakdown due to pressure ulcers, draining wounds and incontinence.To assess the educational needs of the staff and provide programs accordingly.Job QualificationsSpecial Qualifications (licensure, registration, etc.)1. Colorado nursing license in good standing2. Certified as a Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse preferred or eligibleKnowledge, Skill and Ability1. Demonstrates clinical expertise in ostomy and wound care2.
Demonstrates knowledge of teaching/learning theories3. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills4. Demonstrates assertive behavior to address issues with the medical staff and product repsExperience1. Nursing experience with background and expertise in ostomy nursing and wound care2.
Wound VACWorking Environment/Physical Activities1. Travels between campuses2. Accomplishes goals while working under the pressure of consistent deadlines3. Carries a moderate to heavy workload and manages to perform while maintaining the ENCORE behavioral standards
