Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Services Director.
The successful candidate will:
- Oversee the statewide clinical operations for all clinical disciplines
- Maintain effective clinical staff coverage for the practices within budgetary guidelines
- Oversee the completion of performance evaluations including development of performance objectives and developmental goals each year. Assist in the development and preparation of short term and long range plans and budgets based on organization goals and objectives.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and competencies of all clinical personnel
- Develop staffing that promotes excellence in patient care for current needs and future growth
- Develop and manage annual operating goals and budget for clinical department in support of the practice’s business plan under the direction of the Executive Director and Controller
- Drive personal accountability and evaluate performance
- Lead review and implementation of i! ndustry best standards
- Resolve issues and provide dir! ection to the business
- Research, investigate and respond to clinical issues and variances
- Implement policies and procedures in conjunction with USON standards
- Direct the correct use of charge codes and educates all clinical staff in correct documentation per reimbursement guidelines
- Facilitate quality assurance process in nursing
- Develop new services and activities for patients, families, and staff in accordance with practice service objectives
- Lead process innovation and change to optimize efficiencies and achieve business results and achieve strategic goals
Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare, or business field required (MSN, MBA, or MHA preferred). Minimum seven years experience in healthcare management including three years prior supervisory experience. Experience in Oncology/Hematology office management. Current state licensure for applicable clinical educational back! ground.
