SUMMARY - Registered Nurse (RN):
BMC is currently seeking experienced and/or new grad, Registered Nurses (RN) in the following clinic areas and campuses: Main campus in Boulder - 2750 Broadway:
- Allergy (2 openings: one full-time and one part-time, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 24 hours per week) - *New grad and experienced (1-2+ years) Registered Nurses (RN) welcomed !
Foothills/Longmont campus:
- Pediatrics (part-time, works Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday half a day) - 2 years pediatric experience preferred.
- Urology (part-time, 20-24 hours per week)
Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties:
- Supports the provider in a variety of patient care duties and performs related clerical duties in accordance with the area assigned
- Rooms patients, collects vitals and records all medical information in the patientâs Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Prepares exam rooms for providerâs use, collects specimens, administers and documents all prescribed, OTC medication and drug samples per protocols
- Performs routine and special nursing procedures per the providerâs order
- Teaches nursing procedures to patients and their families regarding specific out-patient medical care as needed
- Performs administrative/clerical duties such as filing, phone calls, and faxing
Required Experience:
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have a broad knowledge base of general nursing practice as well as knowledge of acute practice based on needs of specialty area.
- Must be able to recognize and identify patientâs symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment within scope of practice
- Strong computer skills w/ability to record information accurately and timely
- Good time management and history-taking skills
- Good communication skills w/ability to relate well with patients, providers and staff
- Able to demonstrate self-direction in establishing priorities
Requirements
Graduate of accredited nursing program. Current RN licensure by the State of Colorado.
Experience
1-2 years Registered Nurse (RN) nursing experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital. *Years of previous Registered Nurse (RN) experience may vary based on position responsibility and specialty practice needs.
