Sales Executives Food and Beverages (with Chemistry/Food-tech Background) [Nigeria]


 

Summary:

Our client in the FMCG manufacturing construction and Industrial chemicals, is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates, to fill the position of a Sales Executives (Food and Beverages) who will be responsible to drive the business; fulfill and achieve distribution and sales objectives for key brands in the on-trade channel by successful implementation of sales strategies and plans

Location: Port-Harcourt.

Job Description

Distribution

  • To ensure distribution objectives for specific SKUs are achieved as per sales plan
  • Focus on driving sales in neighborhood bars and pubs
  • To ensure a high standard of presence and merchandising for key products in the trade
  • To ensure target price levels for both trade and consumers are implemented

Promotions

  • Identify target outlets, negotiate and implement promotional activities at the highest possible standard
  • Feedback and evaluation of results for sales and marketing management’s review

Control

  • To recommend appropriate level of credit and duration to trade accounts as per standard policies and procedures
  • To ensure collection through pro-active evaluation and management of receivables in order to achieve collection target as set by sales management

Trade Relationships

  • Develop and maintain amiable win-win relationship with key customers
  • Manage and improve performance of assigned trade accounts

Sales Management

  • To achieve the following core KPIs brand sales target volume

Trade spend (A&P, NSI, FTT)

  • Evaluate outlet date, call targets and trade information on regular basis to drive improvement on sales efficiency
  • Qualifications and Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Food-tech.
-2-3 years of sales experience in (Chemical producing companies, Food Enzymes, water treatment, Coatings, Food chemical industries)
-Three years of sales or business development experience, or relevant experience to establish industry mastery.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality
-Possess an analytical and logical thinking process
-Disciplined approach to management of people and work
-Computer skills - MS office
-Ability to work under pressure to deliver target within tight deadlines
-Creative problem solving
-Strong team player

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to ₦200,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Port Harcourt: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • 3 years + FMCG (Required)
