The salary for this position is $68,940 - $86,460 dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Job overview and responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the AO Move Team Managers with the management of the AO Move Team comprised of a dedicated union workforce of Move Team Employees (MTEs).
Standard Operating Procedures:
- The Supervisor maintains current understanding of work scope and develops SOPs for the employees.
- The Supervisor will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all aircraft fleet movement activities; safety, service and procedures.
- Oversight of hiring and training Move Team employees & bringing them current with their skills in accordance to United & LAX requirements and standards.
- Oversight of third-party contract work involving aircraft moves.
- Oversight of station APU reduction initiatives and performance involving multiple work groups.
- Partner with Ground Service Equipment department to ensure planned reliability for Move Team equipment.
- Support of Core4 SOC initiatives.
Safety, Security, and Regulatory Compliance and Training:
- Leading and integrating a Safety Culture.
- Leads Move Team programs and initiatives to align with DOT, FAA and corporate regulations.
- Handles real time training, intervention and administration with regards to partnerships with United BTW, United Tech Ops, LAX Airport Authority (LAWA), and UAX.
- Ensures that employees are compliant with all mandatory training requirements and meet standards.
- Provides feedback and documentation to AO Move Team Managers to support regularly scheduled performance reviews with employees and manage a high level of work standard.
- Collaborates with cross-divisional leadership in definition of and resolution of aircraft move related problems/issues.

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent required
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred
Experience
- 3 years of airline operational experience in a hub environment preferred
- Previous experience working in a union environment preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ramp and aircraft tow/push experience preferred
- Familiarity with ATC communication preferred
- GSE experience preferred
Other
- Must be flexible and willing to work any shift in a 24 hour/7 day a week operation including weekends, nights and holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interviews required to meet job qualifications
- Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
- Must possess a valid, active driver’s license
