The position is responsible for performing or assisting residents in performing, basic personal hygiene and activities of daily living that are appropriate in meeting their needs. Responsible for providing resident care that encompasses their whole being: social, emotional, mental, spiritual and physical .
Essential Functions
Responsible for the daily hygiene care of residents.
Responsible for learning resident’s preferences in order to personalize their care.
Responsible for accurate documentation and prompt reporting of discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
Responsible for knowing and properly applying safety, infection control and risk management procedures.
Communicate on a regular basis with immediate supervisor regarding resident’s status and condition.
Skills, Experience and Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License.
May require Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) Certification.
3 â€" 6 months experience in a long-term care facility preferred. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. This is a full time night CNA position in the Health Suites at Clermont Park. The hours are 6p-630a three nights per week with a fixed two week schedule that includes working every other week-end. You should also be availble to work Holidays as scheduled.
