Full-Time Supervisor, Client Billing
to join our growing team. Candidate will be responsible for supervising the staff on a daily basis and acts as a department subject matter expert to ensure achievement of company goals through accurate and timely performance of adjudication, admissions, and billing procedures.
Essential Functions:
Supervise staff that enters charges, conducts interim reviews, and finalizes facility statements
Reviews client disputes and processes credits when appropriate
Communicates with Business Office Managers, Pharmacy Directors, and others in all matters related to client billing
Provides daily direction to associates to ensure that adjudication, admissions, and billing functions are being performed accurately and in compliance with established policies and procedures to achieve the goals as defined by the Regional Director.
Monitors quality of work and productivity as per established metrics on a daily basis to provide coaching and mentoring to associates to ensure work quality.
Works with client billing management to communicate information and issues in order to ensure patient and billing information are correct.
Works in conjunction with the Manager to establish specific associate goals, department wide goals and performance tracking, including any established metrics.
Works with manager to identify, interview, hire, and train new associates.
Conducts follow-up training with associates in groups or one-on-one to ensure new policies and procedures are implemented timely and accurately within the department.
Acts as the first line of management resolution in handling escalated calls from customers, payors or pharmacy staff to ensure proper resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or related field, Bachelors Degree preferred
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience strongly preferred (healthcare provider preferred)
Minimum 3-5 years experience in medical billing or collections required, skilled nursing facility experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
Customer Service experience preferred
