Sr. Project Manager
The Sr. Project Manager plays a crucial role in managing the installation and on-going servicing of our systems. After the sale of a system is complete, the Sr. PM is the primary customer contact for the life of the system.
Essential Functions :
In order to work effectively as a Sr. Project Manager, the position is expected to:
Ability to run al! l aspects of a large implementation from pre-implementation, i! nterfaces to go-live
Able to run meetings with high-level hospital staff (i.e. Director and VP)
Has ability/experience to run IDN (multi-facility) installation including large install team
Comfortable meeting with team staff over performance issues related to the project
3-4 years of Omnicell PM Experience minimum
Accurate forecasting and itâs affect on stock price
Demonstration of Revenue recognition
Understanding of and ability to hit linearity
Risk assessment and abatement Develop Project Plan (using corporate guidelines), manage and track installation tasks and milestones.
Responsible for the configuration of the OmniSuppliers.
Coordinate entire installation process and phases.
Conduct and manage the in-service training process which includes analysis of training needs, creation of effective presentations and evaluation of re-training needs.
Continually evaluate! /monitor customerâs satisfaction with systems.
Coordinate any necessary enhancement/up-grades/BETA.
Identify problems and coordinate tasks necessary to solve them. (This may include interdepartmental task coordination).
Manage the generation of all necessary reports and tracking systems.
Attend required training/meetings.
Manage the recruitment, training and performance management of Implementation Specialists.
Required Knowledge and Skills :
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
BS/BA degree in business, industrial engineering, computer science or hospital administration or equivalent preferred. Minimum 3 years of previous experience in complex project management.
Strong management, presentation, planning and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
A self-starter who is able to work independently. !
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
Abil! ity to set up training.
Knowledge of spreadsheet, work processing software, and project management software.
Knowledge of computer networking and relational database systems.
Must be able to travel frequently, have own transportation, and be on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Hospital Materials and pharmacy management, hospital administration, nursing and/or information systems experience preferred.
