Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/17/2013Available Shifts: Varied Shift

• NP needed. Denver area clinic. Primary Care. NP will see a mix of patients of all ages but mostly older patients check-ups and evaluations.
• Flexible schedule depending on Provider concerns. Some patients could have multiple conditions. Typically 4-5 patients per day.
• M-F 9:00am to 3:00pm. 30-32 hours per week. No evenings, weekends or call.

A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
