Job Summary:
This position is responsible for independent, advanced, and complex data analysis for CHI Physician Revenue Cycle Management and requires an in depth understanding of healthcare finance and reimbursement methodologies.

Formulates reports and presentations to communicate findings to key national and regional revenue cycle stakeholders.

This position will provide analytic support to the National Physician Revenue Cycle Director, PRC Business Support team, and will be staff support to the PPMS National Steering Committee.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepares in-depth analyses ensuring the accuracy, reliabil! ity, and timeliness of requested analyses and provides an inte! rpretation of findings to revenue cycle leadership.

Identifies and reports revenue performance and billing trends and opportunities to appropriate national and local physician revenue cycle leaders. Receives direction from Manager Practice Management Business Support.

Serves as revenue cycle subject matter expert in Allscripts PPMS and PDS reporting analytic and dashboard reporting tools.

Utilizes Allscripts PPMS, PDS and other reporting tools to produce monthly revenue cycle dashboard reports and performance benchmarking summaries.

Facilitates reporting and revenue cycle data workgroups as needed. Participates in other workgroups on behalf of physician revenue cycle management.

Fulfills the role of revenue cycle reporting liaison to other functional groups at the national and local levels.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Education / Accreditation / Licensure ! (required & preferred):
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. May substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience (required and preferred)

7+ years of healthcare finance or physician revenue cycle experience required.

Experience in a physician practice environment required.

Specific experience with physician revenue cycle and practice management required.

Strong analytical skills including advanced Excel required

Strong writing, communication and time management skills

Strong PowerPoint presentation skills required.

Experience with Allscripts Enterprise Practice Management preferred.

Ability to manage and work and deliver results on multiple projects at the same time.

Organizational skills to facilitate a productive working environment.

Proven organizational skills and! time management.

Knowledge of physician revenue cycle process! es and associated computer technology within healthcare.

Knowledge of report development tools.
