We are seeking a technology leader who will develop and execute innovative strategies to support our vision at The Assist Group. Founded in 1999, The Assi! st Group serves health care providers, insurers, reinsurers, third party administrators, and managing group underwriters in the review of catastrophic medical claims. The company is a national leader in the delivery of a comprehensive approach of claims review utilizing physicians, nurses, pharmacists, attorneys and coding experts. The VP of Information Technology will understand the future drivers of The Assist Group and support a customer-centric, collaborative approach to technology, service and support.
This position leads the Information Technology organization for The Assist Group with responsibilities ranging from delivering on day to day operations to collaborating on the strategic agenda for the organization. This position reports directly to the CEO and works in close partnership with other members of the leadership team. The VP of Information Technology will lead the strategic planning and oversight of the operational aspect of technology including admin! istration, solution design, development, implementation, perfo! rmance and strategy and will provide ongoing support for our internal and external client base. As VP of Information Technology at The Assist Group, you will leverage your experience to Collaborate with team members in identifying, planning, development, and implementation of systems that will support the vision and goals of The Assist Group.
Design and execute a strategic plan and roadmap for technology. Establish technical standards for the organization and ensure good architectural practices are used. Ensure overall management and delivery of technology services on time, on budget, on scope. Create a continuous improvement culture evolve operational practices and drive efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills recruit, manage and retain technical team talent Stay abreast of dynamic technology leverage existing investments while also exploiting new technologies and approaches for high business impact. Establish and m! onitor key performance indicators to drive optimum results for internal and external clients. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security and privacy policies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
Work closely with the leadership team to ensure proper coordination of activities and resources within the organization. We'll consider you qualified if you have Demonstrated positive business impact through the use of technology. Technical experience in Linux-based Java technologies, Microsoft technologies, API-based architecture, cloud-based computing, and Agile methodologies. Experience ranging from strategic planning to driving daily operations.
Proven experience with large project management. Proven experience managing outsourced technology teams for both infrastructure operations and software development Experience managing and delivering technology adhering to HIPAA compliance and other system security control! s 12+ years experience managing a technology function. Technical underg! raduate degree.
