RN - Cardiology Lab

Description: Denver Health is looking of RN - Cardiology Lab right now, this occupation will be placed in Colorado. Under general supervision, utilizes the nursing process to provide care to all patients with respect for their uniqueness using informed judgment, individual competence and qualifications, and collaboration wit! h the health care team. Assesses patient's physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care. Documents patient's medical status upon admission and throughout the patient's course of treatment.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Completion of a nursing education program that satisfies the licensing requirements of the Colorado State Board of Nursing for Registered Nurses. BSN preferred. Experience: 10 or more years experience in a patient care setting. New graduates will be considered. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of techniques, methods and competencies of clinical nursing practices. Knowledge of safety principles and infection control in the patient care environment. Knowledge of standards, polices and procedures of Denver Health as they pertain to nursing. Skill to properly use medical instruments and laboratory equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form. Abili! ty to apply nursing principles, practices and techniques. Abil! ity to asses patients' needs and coordinate proper nursing care. Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations. ability to apply nursing principles, practices and techniques. Ability to exercise initiative and judgment in selecting proper treatment. Ability to use computers and computer systems. Bilingual skills preferred. Certifications and Licenses: Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider Certification/CPR. Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the Sate of Colorado or a participating compact state. *Specialty certifications as required/recommended per unit.
