UCH is looking for a dynamic Associate Nurse Manager for our Inpatient OR, to provide leadership, enhance patient safety and optimize quality patient outcomes. The Associate Nurse Manager will collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Nurse Educator to implement division and unit-specific strategic plans. This person will assist in the development of a work environment that supports employee engagement and high job satisfaction, and will implement and monitor staff competencies.
UCH’s inpatient Peri-Operative services handles inpatient and outpatient surgeries, including: CT/Pulmonary, Cardiac, GYN, ENT and general surgeries; kidney, pancreas, heart, lung and liver transplants, gastric bypass, spine and orthopaedic (trauma and total joint replacements), whipples, thyroidectomies, hernia repairs, tumor resections, craniotomies, and burn grafts among others. We have 17 ! inpatient ORs (soon to be 21) and 1 hybrid OR.
Wha! t we're looking for:
BSN from an NLNAC or CCNE accredited program, MSN preferred
CO RN license (or ability to obtain one)
Current AHA BLS
At least 3 years recent clinical RN experience, in an OR in an acute, hospital setting
Previous RN leadership/management experience
CNOR strongly preferred
Internal Candidates preferred to be Level 3 or 4
