the operation of the assigned nursing unit.
Collabor! ates with other staff and leaders in the development,
management and operation of the unit.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduation from High School or GED Certificate.
Experience:
Typically, one year of clerical experience. Prefer six months in a medical setting or customer service related industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge data entry systems and computer skills. Knowledge of medical terminology.
Telephone and reception skills. Organization and communication skills.
Ability to maintain adequate office supplies and forms on the unit
Ability to demonstrate professional work behavior by following guidelines as established by policies and procedures.
Ability to cover more than one unit.
Bilingual is a plus.
Certificate/License/Registration:
Medical Terminology Certificate preferred.
