Description: Colorado Springs Health Partners is hiring Quality Coder right now, this position will be placed in Colorado. For complete informations about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Effectively and efficiently works with ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS reference material for proper billing. Codes ICD-9 diagnoses, links appropriate diagnoses with CPT procedure codes, and corrects any incorrec! t coding. Gather’s data and works with spreadsheets and websites to assist provider’s and staff with appropriate ICD-9 codes for Senior plans i.e. Secure Horizons. Also assists with education to ensure CSHP is reporting the appropriate HCC codes for a RAF score. Provides feedback (sendbacks) to providers in instances of coding-related problems. Backs up and assists other department personnel as may be directed. Works with insurance and data entry for accuracy with billing and data entry problems. Assists physicians and nursing staff with billing problems and concerns. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Previous medical coding experience, with extensive knowledge of medical terminology, preferred. Must be CPC.
