The
NICU III
RN oversees and directs the care of the
critically ill
patient. The
NICU III
RN ! is responsible for the care
of critically ill, premature and newborn patients meeting the NICU III admissions criteria
. The NICU III RN serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse; BLS â€" Healthcare provider.
NRP required within the first 3 months of hire.
STABLE required within 6 months of hire and maintained as current throughout employment in the NICU.
B.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
C.
! Experience:
One-year experience in acute care preferre! d.
