The Enterprise Reporting team is a fast-paced, dynamic team that manages the external reporting requirements of The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiaries. The group provides team members with various opportunities to collaborate across the organization, develop insight into the enterprise and participate in a world class Controllership organization. In responding to executives, analysts or press inquiries concerning the Company, the group has significant interaction with several key Corporate departments, including Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, and the office of the CFO. We are actively looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join this team.
The Financial Reporting Analyst position reports to both the Senior Financial Analyst and Sr. Manager in Enterprise Consolidations and Reporting and will be responsible for key functions that support the quarterly close and consolidations process. The Financial Reporting Analyst will also participate in the preparation of Form 10-K/10-Q and internal financial reporting deliverables and, as such, will involve interaction with a broad array of Corporate and Segment personnel. This position provides a unique opportunity to demonstrate accounting, reporting, and financial systems expertise, often within a team of other functional experts on key business initiatives and special projects within the Company or specific to Enterprise Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the quarterly close and consolidation processes to ensure timely and accurate generation of consolidated financial statements

Assist with preparation of quarterly balance sheet and income statement analysis- Participate in preparation of Form 10K/10Q
- Support external audit process by providing auditors with supporting documentation and respond to inquiries
- Support implementation of off-quarter Enterprise-wide financial process improvement initiatives
- Assist with monitoring intercompany processes, including reporting variances, reconciliation, resolution, etc.
- Lead/execute various ad-hoc projects

The hiring range for this position in CA is $76,700 - $93,800 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
