Our Customer Specialists are the face, or rather, the voice, of our brand. You will be interacting directly with our customers and clients to ensure their experience is flawless and enjoyable every time.
You will be forward-facing (responding to customer emails, phone calls, and direct messages) and your primary job will be customer support. You will be highly valued and work closely with the rest of our team to provide the highest quality customer service and experience. Attention to detail, resourcefulness, excellent grammar, and communication are all essential skills.
A typical day will be spent responding to customer needs through various methods including phone calls, emails, and live chat. As a rapidly expanding start-up, change is the only constant, the Customer Specialist’s roles and responsibilities may change to meet the needs of the company.
In addition to that, you will work with the team in other capacities, as needed, to enhance the customer experience.
Skill Set:
- Ability to help online customers with questions and assist as needed with the online learning platform.
- Ability to communicate potential user experience or user flow issues to the rest of the team.
- A drive to improve the product and service, and to provide the highest quality customer service.
- We are looking for someone who is excited to help others and who wants to take ownership of the customer experience.
- Candidate MUST be highly organized and have a sharp attention to detail.
- Candidate MUST excel in time management and written and oral communication.
Experience/Education:
- 2 years of customer service experience is required.
- Prefer college degree, but not required.
- No experience in healthcare necessary.
- Ability to work cross-functionally demonstrated in prior experiences.
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, technical and otherwise.
Responsibilities: (On the job training provided)
- Resolve customer support calls and emails in a timely manner.
- Respond to reviews from customers (under 3 stars).
- Ensure customer's courses are reported and recorded properly.
- Work with management/IT to resolve any major user issues.
- Work with IT to test changes as they relate to the user experience.
- Understand the user experience & identify areas for improvement.
- Manage miscellaneous non-support projects as needed, with proper guidance, training and support.
- Record daily metrics.
As you will be answering phone calls, you are required to have a dedicated office or workspace in your home that is free from distractions including pets and family members. Depending on location, availability, and need, we may be able to provide access to a co-working space.
Hours:
We are hiring for two Customer Support Specialists; one will work M-F 8:00-4:30 EST, the other will work M-F 1:30-10:00pm EST. With weekends and select holidays off.
