The payroll analyst lead will support, develop and improve the processes that enable accurate and timely payment of our 250K+ U.S. & Canada partners. They will lead a team of payroll seniors, analysts, or associates in the weekly processing of payroll, evaluate complex payroll issues, ensure appropriate controls are followed, provide training to other team members, and will promote best practices and technology advancement.

As a payroll analyst lead, you will…

  • Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiencies through audits and reconciliations for all aspects of payroll processing.
  • Develop training/communication to deploy process improvements.
  • Support management in accomplishing the organization’s payroll processing objectives and will serve as a “change agent” to promote best practices and technological advancements.
  • Assist with mentoring and training payroll analysts and associates.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Multi-state/Provincial full cycle payroll processing, including time entry to general ledger entry.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail and execution with the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology and identify, evaluate and implement process improvements.
  • A foundational understanding of payroll including garnishments, bonus payments, special payments, and payroll taxes for the US (required) and Canada (preferred)
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Strong customer skills with consistent follow-through and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Strong skills in payroll systems (specifically SAP), accounting systems (specifically Oracle), Microsoft Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.), and other software which has an interface to SAP (Kronos, Authoria, etc.)
  • Ability to work as part of a team, manage projects and initiatives, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and coach peers and other partners.
