Talent One Recruiting and Staffing is currently in search for a Warehouse Associate for a distribution company.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fill orders and palletize in a timely manner. Prepare orders by processing pick-up lists—retrieving merchandise, pulling materials, quality control, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area.
- Load and unload trucks and check in merchandise.
- Sort and place merchandise/other materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to company aisle organization.
- Assist in accurate counting of physical inventory. Maintain inventory controls by collecting orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Ensure inventory safety—handle all boxes and merchandise safely to prevent damages or breakage.
- Maintain clean, neat, and orderly warehouse, showroom, office, and parking areas at all times—sweep, dust, wipe down, mop, etc.
- Assist in other unassigned duties.

Physical Demands and Abilities:
- Packaging and palletizing skills using tape, knives, wraps, etc.
- Regularly lift, balance, and/or move objects 0-50 lbs (may require use of hand trucks and pallet jacks, or similar tools)
- Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
- Basic tool and building skills preferred: hammer, drill, screw, cut, etc.
Qualification Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred, or willingness to learn
- Good communication, organizational, time management, and quick mathematical skills
- Dependable, Reliable, Respectful
- Impeccable attendance
- Inventory, data entry, and computer skills preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Commerce, CA 90040: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
