We're seeking a full time Activities Assistant on our Alzheimer's unit at our 207-bed center, located in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities include: Assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and may be under the direction of supervisors.
Job Requirements :
Good written and verbal communication skills
Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly.
Previous experience with dementia patients desired.
Ability to lead group and individual activities.
Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA preferred.
