Location: Louisville Colorado

Description: GHX is at present recruited Sr. Consultant - Provider right now, this position will be placed in Colorado. Will leverage clinical expertise to manage and deliver consulting services associated with implementing a new solution for automating the implant and device supply chain in healthcare.
Wil! l possess a thorough knowledge of healthcare supply chain in the areas of materials management, purchasing, contract management, operating room, cath lab and accounts payable. Should have an expert command of clinical processes related to the implantable device supply chain include point-of-use consumption workflow.
Will interface directly with GHX connected customers to improve their supply chain processes, increase cost savings, and create repeatable processes to bring savings and value.
Work location is flexible and required travel will be 50 â€" 75 %. Target travel should be around 50% where consultant is skilled at proper balance of client facing time, efficiency at the client site, and ability to complete select portions of each project from a home office location as preferred.

Responsibilities:
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Meets and builds relationships with senior executives (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.) by presenting and dis! cussing industry trends, best in class strategies, and gaining! buy in for GHX industry initiatives and consulting services with a focus on implantable
device supply chain.
Identifies opportunities in the customer organization that GHX products or services can make improvements.
Develops process improvement plans to address the identified opportunities.
Develops and facilitates training sessions to implement identified change management initiatives.
Directs client collection of qualitative and quantitative data to assess current processes, benchmark against best practice metrics, and quantify improvement opportunities.
Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
Creates ROI analysis and business case to demonstrate value added.
Leads client discussions and meetings to present analysis and facilitates client decision-making in order to select improvement tactics.
Collaborates with GHX Customer Service Managers, Sales, Product Management and Marketing to identify and address customer needs.
Creates ! solutions to client problems and monitors engagement progress focused on implantable device supply chain.
Creates, reviews and approves support documentation, work plans, and other deliverables.
Creates project methodology and supporting tools.
Coordinates client assignments: monitor client satisfaction, assure engagement efficiency and quality, and manage continuous improvement process.
Communicates broad complex concepts or issues in a succinct manner to facilitate task execution and client facing communication.
Mentors and assists GHX staff development.
Provides clinical expertise to other team members including peer consultants, product and marketing teams.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Deep understanding of operating room clinical procedures.
Minimum of 3 years' suppl! y chain consulting experience.
Minimum of 3 years' clinical experie! nce or clinical system implementation.
Knowledge of industry leading practices and key metrics.
Understanding of healthcare operations.
Comprehension of basic financial accounting activities.
Strong analytical ability to identify processes and determine how to create process improvement opportunities.
Knowledge of common industry information systems and applications.
Experience with information systems implementation.
Demonstrated contribution to methodology development and thought leadership.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience with an ERP/Materials Management Information System, i.e. PICIS, ORMS, PYXIS, OmniCell, SIS, McKesson Surgical Solutions, and/or Meditech OR module.
Proven experience in developing and executing systems integration.
Strong organization skills; ability to multitask.
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Ability to interface with provider, supp! lier, distributors and group purchasing organizations.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability.
Demonstrated project management and deliverable creation.
Ability to travel minimum 50%, as needed.

Preferred Skills:
Strongly prefer Registered Nurse with experience in an OR or Cath Lab setting.
