Not accepting NEW GRAD PCT/CNA’s.
Must have mimimum 1 year experience! in an acute care hospital as a PCT/CNA.
Not accepting Graduate RN’s.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of the RN based on the guidelines of the Colorado Nurse Aide Practice Act. Performs basic nursing skills and patient personal care. As unit secretary coordinates clerical functions of the unit. Transcribes physician orders, maintains patient charts, orders supplies.
Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Colorado certification as Nursing Assistant. Current BCLS certification.
B. Experience: 1-2 year’s acute care experience desirable
C. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Performs procedures safely and
accurately within standards of practice. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and ext! ernal customers. Maintains patient confidentiality.
