Description: Longmont United Hospital is presently looking of Clinical Nurse II Operating Room right now, this position will be placed in Colorado. General : The Clinical Nurse II position is for current Registered Nurses with over 6 months of nursing experience. The Operating Room Nurse possesses the ! knowledge and skills necessary to manage the patient’s care in a competent manner. They can demonstrate the ability to collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality care in the clinical area. The CN II must continue to integrate knowledge, concepts and skills from experience and continuing educational opportunities to maintain the Clinical Nurse II status as per the Clinical Ladder Guidelines.
Education or Formal Training : (Certifications) Requirements: Current Colorado RN Licensure and current BLS certification; obtains and maintains required certifications for specific specialty; obtains the minimum number of annual CEU’s required by LUH. ACLS is required within six months of hire.
Knowledge and Experience: Operating Room nursing experience required, CNOR strongly preferred.
Ability : Demonstrates professional behavior as defined by LUH standards; interacts appropriately with others, including employees, patie! nts and the public. Validation of other Competencies as requir! ed by specific area; utilizes communication strategies that promote quality patient care.
