Vibra Hospital of Denver is seeking a Medical Records Coder to join our team. The Medical Records Coder is responsible for the technical aspects of processing inpatient medical records and providing information associated with the medical record. Responsible for inpatient and outpatients medical records. Will also help with quarterly audits.
! This is a full-time day-shift position.
Minimum Qu! alifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Prefer enrolled in or graduated from accredited health information management program, RHIT or CCS.
One year coding experience in a hospital, nursing home, clinic, physician’s office or other health care setting required.
Extensive knowledge in medical terminology; ICD-9-CM coding and CPT-4 knowledge.
Experience using ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 code books.
Computer skills required.
